Peptic Care enteric-coated tablets combining omeprazole, tinidazole and clarithromycin for H. pylori and ulcers.
This is a combination of omeprazole, tinidazole and clarithromycin used for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori and the management of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Clarithromycin is a long-acting, specific antibiotic; omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces acid secretion; and tinidazole is a powerful antibacterial agent active against anaerobes. Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems, and consider carefully in pregnancy and lactation; it is contraindicated in patients with sensitivity to any component. The box contains 14 tablets (7 blisters, 2 tablets each); each tablet contains omeprazole 20mg, tinidazole 500mg and clarithromycin 250mg. Do not chew or crush the tablets.
