Eliquis 5mg is an anticoagulant medication used to prevent blood clots and stroke in people with certain heart conditions or blood disorders. It is indicated for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in adults with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation, for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), and for the prevention of recurrent DVT and PE in adults. Each tablet contains 5mg of apixaban. The pack contains 20 film-coated tablets.
