Adant is an injectable sodium hyaluronate solution used to treat knee pain in patients with arthritis. It is indicated for osteoarthritis of the knee and painful shoulder, grade I, II and III trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis, and pain and limited movement resulting from degenerative and traumatic changes in other synovial joints. One syringe (2.5ml) of Adant contains 25mg of sodium hyaluronate. Store between 1°C and 30°C; refrigerate if this temperature cannot be assured, and avoid exposure to light.
