Unstable angina/non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction: To decrease the rate of MI and stroke in conjunction with aspirin in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (unstable angina/non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction [UA/NSTEMI]), including patients who are to be managed medically and those who are to be managed with coronary revascularization. Recent myocardial infarction, recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease: To reduce the rate of MI and stroke in patients with a history of recent MI, recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease.
