• DEXIGLOFOZIN 5MG 30 tablets is a medication used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. • Active ingredient: Dapagliflozin 5mg. • Indication: o As an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. o To reduce the risk of hospitalization for heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and established cardiovascular disease (CVD) or multiple cardiovascular (CV) risk factors. • Dose: Assess renal function prior to initiation of therapy and then as clinically indicated • The recommended starting dose is 5 mg orally once daily taken in the morning, with or without food.
