Ciprocin 750 mg Tablets contain ciprofloxacin and are used to treat a range of bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections, acute uncomplicated cystitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, bone and joint infections, complicated intra-abdominal infections (in combination with metronidazole), infectious diarrhea, typhoid fever, and hospital-acquired pneumonia. In children and adolescents, it is used for complicated urinary tract infections and pyelonephritis due to E. coli. Precautions: Fluoroquinolones have been associated with serious, potentially irreversible adverse reactions, such as tendinitis, tendon rupture, and peripheral neuropathy; use is generally reserved for patients with no alternative treatment options for acute uncomplicated cystitis.
